​​​Chilean cellist Fabiola Ojeda is a versatile chamber musician and passionate educator. Based in Athens-Greece, she teaches students of all levels — from early childhood to adults — at Kodály Conservatory. 

​Her musical journey began at home under the tutelage of her father, with whom she first studied the violin. By the age nine, however, she discovered her true voice  with the cello, continuing her training at the Conservatory of Valdivia in her hometown.​​ A scholarship  from​​ Georgia State University in 1995 marked a turning point, bringing her to Atlanta to pursue her studies. During this time in the United States she served at Columbus Symphony Orchestra and began working as assistant of  Professor Martha Gerchefski. It was within that studio, while mentoring under Gerchefski's guidance, that she first discovered her passion for education. This pedagogical path continue later on in Germany, where once again she was placed as assistant of Professor Matias de Oliveira Pinto at Julius Stern Institute (University of the Arts - Berlin), and held a teaching position at the School of Music and Arts-Bielefeld while serving at the Orchestra of Münster Theatre.

Since establishing herself in Athens in 2009, Fabiola has become an active presence in the vibrant musical scene of the Greek capital. She has served as Principal Cellist for the Greek National Opera's Children's Stage, and participated in the 2012 EU-cofunded educational program titled 'Interactive Opera in Schools,' diving into performances across more than 150 public schools throughout Greece. She also collaborates in concerts with the Baroque Orchestra "Armonia Atenea," and was featured as a soloist in a live broadcast with the Greek National Radio Choir. Furthermore, she participates regularly with various contemporary and baroque ensembles, appearing at notable Greek festivals and venues such as Athens Epidaurus Festival, Sacred Music Festival of Athens, Spring Organ Festival Series in Athens, Hydra Classical Music Festival, Thessaloniki Concert Hall, Athens Baroque Festival, Athens Concert Hall, and "Alternative Stage" of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation.​

Keeping a deep connection to her heritage, Fabiola has brought the music projects "Tribute to Pablo Neruda" and "Tribute to Violeta Parra" by Chilean composer Luis Saglie to Athenian audiciences under the patronage of the Chilean Government. Parallel to this, she has collaborated closely with a distinguish circle of Greek composers, including Calliope Tsoupaki, Nikos Mamangakis, Nikos Kypourgos,Theodore Antoniou, and George Tsontakis.

Her education has been shaped by professors and mentors, such as Martha Gerchefski, Marcio Carneiro, Matias de Oliveira Pinto, Jaap ter Linden, and Antonio  Meneses.​ Fabiola was awarded first prize at both the Chilean Young Talent Competition and at the Atlanta Cello Society Young Artists Competition. She was also awarded a fellowship by the Yehudi Menuhin Live Music Now in Germany and holds a Higher Performance Degree from the Musikhöchshule Münster.
